Just a quick note to let you know what we are up to. We are still living in Lodi, CA and love it here. Our school district starts the year early, so I am already back at school endeavoring to fix all the lisps and stutters that come my way. Brett is still doing database administration for Cottage Bakery (Ever wonder what makes that gourmet bread so delicious? It's the data!) Our fur-baby, Jessi, is 2 and a half and is still the shyest (and sweetest) dog we know. She will soon have a human brother or sister. We found out in May that I am (finally) expecting. The baby is due January 20th and we are so excited and overwhelmed. We will find out on August 28th if we need to paint the nursery pink or blue! We can hardly wait!Here is the latest ultrasound from about a month ago. If you can't see the baby don't feel bad. Most people can't. But if you can make it out, you will see that the baby is sucking his/her thumb. Too cute!

Your firstborn is cuter at the moment (no one looks good in an ultrasound), but I'm guessing the new baby will win out in the cute department. Congrats!

YAY!!! Congratulations! I hope Christie is feeling well. You 2 are going to love being parents to someone who actually resembles you (I sincerely hope that your first "child" doesn't resemble you).
